HI, I'M DAWN!
Briefly about me
I set out on my journey as a Norwegian to English translator in 2004 after studying to become an English teacher at the University of Bergen in Norway. At first, I only worked a few hours per week as a freelance translator and interpreter for the public sector, but this later developed into a full-time job after I passed the National Translator Accreditation Exam in 2014 gaining the protected title of 'Government Authorised Translator' (statsautorisert translatør). Since then, I have primarily focused on sworn translations commissioned by various agencies and private clients.
Aim
With a 'straight-to-the-translator' strategy, my aim is to provide a translation service focusing on timely delivery, accuracy, consistency and coherence. I work from my fully equipped home office, which cuts out the cost of office premises and enables me to offer competitive prices.
Confidentiality
As a translator I am bound by the duty of confidentially, which I take care of with the utmost discretion employing the use of encryption, passwords and shredding.
Assistance
If you need a sworn translation, and therefore the best possible equivalence in terms of both language and document layout, please do not hesitate to contact me by e-mail or by filling in the contact form.

In order for translations to be accepted in another country, my stamp and signature are registered with Bergen District Court (Bergen Tingrett) as the verifying authority. The court is contacted when apostillation or notarisation is required.
Unfortunately, I am unable to arrange apostillation or notarisation of documents.
